I really love travelling, especially go to Japan alone!

April is one of the best seasons for visiting Tokyo because of sakura blossom.

It is quite hard to book flights and accommodation.  However, I recommend visiting Tokyo in this season to experience Japanese culture.

Tips:

There are two good websites to check the world weather - AccuWeather and The Weather Channel. They also have app versions.  In other words, you can find out the world weather on your smartphones or tablets.

Regarding Japan’s weather, you can also use Tenki.jp.  Not only can you check the weather, but you also can find out the situation of sakura blossom.  Tenki.jp also offers app version.

Airports:

There are two international airports in Tokyo – Haneda (羽田空港) and Narita (成田空港).  Haneda is near the city center, but Narita is out of Tokyo.  I prefer to take the flights to / from Haneda Airport to save my time, but the flights are more expensive. If you want to save money, Narita airport will be a good choice because all  budget airlines bound to Tokyo land here.

My itinerary:

Day 1+2: Singapore -> Tokyo (Shinjuku + Okachimachi)  (overnight flight)

Day 3: Asakusa + Ginza

Day 4: Roppongi + Tokyo Station + Chidori-Ga-Fuchi City Park + Yasukuni Jinja

Day 5: Tokyo -> Singapore

Accommodation:

The hotel group I adore most in cities in Japan is Toyoko Inn(東横イン).  They have a lot of branches in Japan.  The best thing about Toyoko Inn is their sites are usually near the train (JR) or MRT stations.  Besides location, they are also famous for cleanliness and low prices.  You can even become their member to save more money, because they much better prices for their members.

I stayed at Toyoko Inn Tokyo Shinagawa-eki Takanawa-guchi（品川駅高輪口）during my whole trip this time.  It is near to Shinagawa Station which is one of the biggest public transport stations in Tokyo.  Tourists can take JR, High-speed railway (Shinkansen) and MRT at this station.  It is very convenient for tourists.
